There are better books for both comprehensive cardiac imaging as well as cardiac imaging rotations. This is a new iteration of a poorly edited book which doesn't fix any of the problems of its predecessors. The image captions do not open by telling you what pathology you are looking at and come in huge walls of text in an excruciating small font.This leads to further confusion as many of the image references in the text are mislabeled, leading you to waste time trying to find or guessing at the appropriate image corresponding to that the text. The images are also separated from their referring sections by many pages. Trying to read some parts of this book felt more like going through a bad case review book where you have a list of unknown cases and no answers. I read this text through my university library subscription and am glad I didn't waste any money on it.In all honesty, if you removed the pictures from this text it would make for a more palatable read. That's saying something when you're talking about a radiology text.
